You can obtain a marriage license from any County Clerks office in the State of Utah for marriage anywhere in the State. Both parties must be present, with proper documentation. The fee is $40.00 in Cache County. But each county has a different price. Box Elder county is $30.00. Salt Lake is $50.00. (Franklin, Idaho is $28.00) and the license must be used within 30 days.

The Utah County Clerk/Auditor’s Office recently launched the digital application process on its website. The online process takes about 10 minutes and requires both people to use one smartphone or computer, fill out a form, take a picture of their IDs and take selfies.

The system verifies their identities, without the need for human intervention. The officiant can sign off on the license online, and the couple is emailed a PDF document with the marriage license.
